This Privacy Policy explains how Namaz Time — Azan & Qibla ("the app", "we", "us"), published by DarkBlue Software, handles information when you use our Android application. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or phone number on our servers (we do not operate any server).

Location: With your permission, the app reads your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your location is processed on your device and is not sent to or stored on our servers (we do not operate any server).
Settings & data: Your preferences (calculation method, language, azan on/off, tasbih count) are saved only on your device.
Advertising data: The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier, IP address, and usage data as described below.

2. How We Use Information

To calculate and display prayer times and the Qibla direction for your location.
To play the azan / send prayer reminders at the correct times.
To remember your settings.
To show ads that help keep the app free.

3. Permissions We Use

Permission	Purpose
Location	To calculate prayer times & Qibla (used on-device only).
Notifications	To alert you and play the azan at prayer time.
Exact alarm	So the azan plays at the precise prayer time.
Run in background / foreground service	To play the full azan even when the app is closed.
Internet	Required by Google AdMob to load ads.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. The only third parties that may receive data are those listed above, solely to provide their service (e.g. showing ads).

6. Data Storage & Security

Your app data is stored locally on your device. Its security depends on your device's own protection. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Choices

You can turn off location permission in your device settings (prayer times then need manual location).
You can turn the azan/notifications off inside the app's Settings.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
